I deliberately keep the program small so I can give each student individualized attention, detailed feedback and targeted preparation throughout the admissions process.
Preparation changes with each stage of the UTS process.
Stage #1 — Written Assessment
I build the reading, writing and reasoning skills students need to perform under demanding timed conditions. Together, we work on increasingly challenging reading-comprehension exercises, analytical and creative writing, reasoning tasks, unusual prompts including one-word essays, and timed assignments.
As students develop these skills, I use actual UTS assessments from past years alongside carefully designed simulations. This gives students experience applying what they have learned under realistic conditions and allows me to identify precisely what we need to strengthen next.
Stage #2 — Interview & Collaborative Assessment
For students who advance to Stage 2, I shift the focus from written performance to thinking, communicating and responding effectively in interview and collaborative settings.
My preparation draws on an extensive bank of actual Stage 2 questions used in past years, together with realistic interview and collaborative simulations. I help students organize their thoughts quickly, articulate and defend ideas, listen and respond thoughtfully to others, handle unfamiliar questions, and communicate confidently under pressure.
I do not teach scripted answers. Together, we develop the confidence, flexibility and communication skills students need to respond authentically and effectively.
Entry begins with a rigorous initial assessment to determine whether the program is the right fit for the student.
Flexible by design. Sessions are billed hourly rather than as a large admissions package, giving families control over the amount of preparation and their overall budget.
