For more than 25 years, Dr. Joel has helped students develop the thinking, writing, and communication skills required for their next academic stage.
A University of Toronto Ph.D. in English, published author and scholar, University of Toronto Writing Strategist, and former Head of Toronto Campuses at Brain Power Enrichment, he brings extensive experience in gifted education, academic writing, admissions, and individual mentorship.
Dr. Joel also collaborates with educational organizations across the GTA, including CSAA — Canadian STEM & AI Academy, where he teaches a specialized course helping students transition successfully from middle school to high school.
The course focuses on the academic demands students encounter as they enter Grade 9, particularly reading, writing, analytical thinking, and organization.
